We have been based out of F - 90 / 31 Okhla Industrial Area Phase No. 1 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with traffic and the sound of machines running. We handle embroidery work here, mostly focusing on the day-to-day operations that keep the shop going. The staff knows the routine well. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning, and we just try to get the orders finished on time. It gets hot in the summer, especially in this part of Delhi, but we keep at it. People come to us because they know where to find us in Phase 1. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workspace and rows of machines. We deal with various fabrics and threads throughout the week. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we manage to sort it out. Our day starts early before the heat really sets in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up nearby. Despite the changes, we’ve stayed in this same corner of the industrial area. There isn’t much to say other than we work hard and try to stay organized. If you walk past our unit, you’ll probably hear the constant hum of the needles. It’s just what we do here every day from Monday to Saturday. The parking outside is usually a mess, but we make do with what we have.
