You can find us out on the Najafgarh Gurgaon Road in the village of Bajghera. We are situated pretty close to the BSF Camp, so it’s easy to spot the turnoff. The shop is mostly an open area where we work on the vehicles. It gets pretty dusty out here, and there is always the sound of hammers or sprayers going. We have been doing this for a long time, working with our hands every day. My clothes are usually stained with grease or paint, but that’s the job. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and the sun is beating down on the metal. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just some big fans that move the air around a bit. People bring their trucks and cars to us because they know we are here in the village. It’s a straightforward business. We look at the damage, and we get to work fixing it. There isn't much talk, just the sound of tools. Sometimes we sit outside on old tires when we take a lunch break. The traffic on the Gurgaon road is always zooming by, but we are used to it. It’s a busy life, and there is always another job waiting. We just take it one day at a time here in Bajghera. It’s honest work and we like it.
