Our spot is in Subhash Nagar, specifically at House Number 352B/9. Gurgaon has changed so much lately, but this little corner feels a bit more grounded. It’s a typical residential-turned-commercial kind of street, so it’s usually pretty crowded with bikes and people walking by. Inside, the office is quite simple. We have a couple of desks, a printer that jams more often than it should, and plenty of chairs for when the site supervisors come in for a chat. We spend a lot of time on the phone, coordinating with vendors or checking on materials. It gets noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that’s how we stay on top of things. We don't spend much on decorations or looking sleek because that’s not really what we are about. We just need a place to look at the plans and figure out the schedules for the coming weeks. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know each other's habits. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes brought from home or ordered from the shop around the corner. We focus on the practical side of building, dealing with the daily headaches of logistics and labor without making a big deal of it. Our presence here is about the work, not the image, and we prefer it that way.
