Our Shapoorji Pallonji & Co.Ltd. office is located in Ashok Vihar, right on Gali Number 2 near the New Railway Road in Gurgaon. This isn't the part of Gurgaon with the huge skyscrapers and malls. It’s more of an older, busier neighborhood with lots of small shops and constant noise. The office itself is quite simple. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of paper everywhere. The windows are usually a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic on the main road outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of those modern office perks. It’s just a place for us to coordinate the work and meet with the contractors. Most days are pretty hectic with people coming and going all the time. We drink way too much tea from the local vendors. The parking can be a bit of a nightmare, so most of us try to get here early. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture or decorations. We’d rather just focus on the projects we are managing. There is always something to do, whether it's checking bills or talking to the site supervisors. It’s a loud, busy, and honest place to work. We aren't trying to be something we are not. We just work hard in a crowded corner of the city.
