Our office is up on the second floor of D-9 in Suncity, over in Sector-54 of Gurgaon. It’s a typical Haryana business area with a lot going on all the time. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co.Ltd. has been running things from this specific spot for quite a bit. Finding the office can be tricky if you aren’t looking for the sign, but we like it just fine. Most of us commute in, so the morning usually starts with a lot of coffee and checking the daily schedules. Standard desks, some old chairs, and stacks of blueprints sitting everywhere make up the space. We don't really go for the whole polished corporate look you see in magazines. It’s just a place to get the job done. Whenever the lift is slow, we just take the stairs to the second floor. It keeps us moving. Local site management is handled from these desks. During the middle of the day, it gets really busy with people coming in for signatures or just to check on a project's status. Windows stay shut against the Gurgaon dust and noise. There’s always someone typing away or talking on a mobile phone about supplies. Fancy scripts aren't used when people call us. We just tell them what's happening. This straightforward environment works well for the team. We’re just regular people working for a big company name in a busy part of town.
