We’re based out of Shalimar Bagh, which is a pretty nice part of the city to be in. Even though the name sounds like we’re only online, we have a physical space here where we handle everything. Most of our day is spent looking at different fabrics and checking the stitching on the shirts and pants we have. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done if we want things to look right. We aren't a huge factory or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us working in a room that’s often filled with boxes and plastic wrap. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s really hot outside, so we open the windows and deal with the noise from the street. We get a lot of local folks stopping by to ask if they can buy things directly instead of going through the website. We usually say yes because it’s easier than shipping it out. The neighborhood is good and there are plenty of places to grab a quick tea when we need a break. We started this because we liked clothes and wanted a way to make a living doing it. It’s not always easy and some weeks are slower than others, but we keep at it. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do, we just make clothes and sell them to whoever wants them. It's a plain business for real people.
