We work out of House Number 1067 in Sector 17B, which is over in Gurgaon. It is basically a residential house that we have turned into an office space for our electrical business. Being in a house makes the whole environment feel a bit more relaxed than those glass buildings you see in the city center. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk or ride our bikes in every morning. The area is pretty quiet for Gurgaon, but you still hear the usual traffic from the main roads not too far away. We have our desks set up in the different rooms, and the kitchen is mostly used for making endless rounds of tea and coffee to keep us going. The walls have some old calendars and a few diagrams pinned up. It gets quite busy with phone calls and people checking on orders, but we manage to stay organized enough. Sometimes the courier guys have a bit of trouble finding the house number since the sectors can be confusing, so we usually have to go out to the gate to wave them down. It is a simple setup without any of those modern office perks, just a place where we get the daily work done. We like being in a regular neighborhood instead of a big industrial park. It makes the day feel a bit more grounded and less like a typical corporate grind.
