Serco International

Serco International operates out of House Number 2598 in Sector 23, Gurgaon. It’s a regular house on a regular street, which is how we like it. The 122001 area code is home for us. We handle international business from here, which might sound big, but it’s really just us and our computers in a converted room. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional vegetable seller or a car passing by. We spend a lot of time on calls with people in different time zones, so sometimes there are lights on in the office late into the night. It’s not a corporate office park with security guards and glass elevators; it’s just a place with a ceiling fan and a few sturdy desks. We keep our own files and do our own cleaning for the most part. Working from a house means we can have our lunch in a real kitchen, which is a nice change from most jobs. We’ve been in Sector 23 for quite some time, and we know the local shops and the best places to get a quick snack. It’s a low-key way to run a business, but it works for us. We just focus on the international side of things and try to keep our clients happy without making a big fuss about it. We like it this way.
