My My Kitchen

If you walk into Baani Square at Sector 50, you can find us at G 89. My My Kitchen is a small spot, but we stay quite busy. South City 2 is a lively neighborhood, and there are always people walking around looking for something to eat. Our kitchen is where everything happens. It gets pretty hot in there, especially during the summer months when the stoves are all going at once. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and making sure we have enough supplies for the day. The smell of onions and spices is usually sticking to our clothes by the time we go home. We don't have a huge staff, just a few people who know their way around a pan. The counters are made of stainless steel and we scrub them down every single night. We like being in this part of Gurgaon because the crowd is friendly. Sometimes we run out of things and have to send someone to the market quickly. It’s a bit chaotic during the lunch rush, but we managed to get into a rhythm. We don't do anything too fancy, just honest cooking. We try to keep the menu simple so we can do it right. There’s always a stack of dishes waiting to be washed, but that’s just part of the job. We enjoy the noise of the mall and the regulars who come by to see what we have made.
