We started working out of Plot No. 17 in Sector 5 of IMT Manesar quite a while back. It’s a big industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise from the heavy trucks and the other factories nearby. We deal with overseas stuff, which mostly means a lot of shipping containers and endless piles of paperwork sitting on our desks. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some mismatched desks and chairs and the smell of coffee and old files. Most days are spent talking to people on the phone or checking the warehouse to see if things are packed right. It gets really hot in the summer here, but we just keep the coolers running and get on with it. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where everyone goes for a break in the afternoon. People here have been working together for years, so we all know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s not some big corporate headquarters, just a place where we get the work done and try to stay organized. Sometimes the internet goes down or a shipment gets delayed, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just how it goes in Manesar. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably find us mid-meeting or counting stock. It’s just a regular place with regular people trying to keep things moving across the borders. The tea guy knows exactly how much sugar everyone takes, which is probably the most organized part of our afternoon.
