We are based out of 543 M Pace City Ii Sector 37. It’s an industrial area, so there are big trucks moving in and out all the time. The dust gets on everything if we leave the windows open too long. Sansun Styles Pvt. Ltd. occupies this space where we have the machines and the cutting tables set up. It’s quite loud when everything is running at once, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other. The floor is concrete and it’s hard on the feet, so we all wear thick slippers. Sector 37 isn't the prettiest place, but it's where the work happens. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot because the tin roof makes the place heat up fast. We have a small area partitioned off for the computers and the billing, but mostly it’s just open space for the production. There is a small canteen nearby where we get snacks, mostly samosas and oily bread. The electricity fluctuates sometimes, which is a bit of a pain, but we have a generator that kicks in with a loud bang. We don’t really have visitors, just delivery drivers and the people who work here. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of the inventory numbers. We just try to get through the daily list of tasks before it gets dark and we head home. The security guard at the gate knows us all by name.
