R. K Wire Industry

R. K Wire Industry is out in Sukarali Enclave. We’re tucked behind the warehouse godowns near the market yard, right next to the Pitalenagar Society. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of metal and machines. Our shop is where we make all sorts of metal wires. It’s not the cleanest place in the world. There’s oil on the machines and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We wear old clothes because they’re going to get ruined anyway. My father started this place and now I run it with a few workers. We aren't a massive company with a board of directors. We’re just a small workshop doing our job. We supply wire to builders and other shops around the area. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them with greasy wrenches. It’s frustrating, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If someone wants to talk business, we just stand near the gate or sit on some crates. The roof leaks a bit when it rains, so we have to be careful with where we store the finished spools. It’s a tough, practical life. We don’t do much talking; we just focus on the machines and getting the wire ready for the next delivery. It’s a simple, hardworking life for all of us here.
