Our office is located on Level 1 of Lotus Plaza, which is at 732/1 on the Mehrauli Gurgaon Road. If you know the MG Road area, you know how the traffic can be during the rush hours. We are right in the middle of all that activity. Inside the office, it is mostly desks, filing cabinets, and people on the phone. We handle a lot of the administrative side of the business from here. It is a bit different from a factory floor where the actual products are made, but it is where all the planning and coordination happen. We see a lot of commuters passing by outside, and the building stays fairly busy with people coming in for various meetings. We do not have any flashy decor; it is just a functional space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the lift in the plaza takes a while, so we end up taking the stairs. We deal with various industrial products and making sure they get to where they need to go across the country. It involves a lot of spreadsheets and tracking numbers. The team here is small enough that everyone knows each other’s names and what they are working on. We usually grab lunch from the local spots nearby or bring something from home to eat at our desks. It is a standard office environment where we try to stay organized and keep things moving without too much fuss or extra noise.
