Our business operates out of House No. 1147 in Sector 10-A. It’s more of a converted space than a traditional office building, which gives it a more personal and homey feel. We do clothing here, so the rooms are often filled with racks and boxes waiting to be sent out to our customers. It’s a quiet residential sector for the most part, so we try not to make too much noise or disturb the people living nearby. Most of us who work here have been doing this for years, so we have a good routine down. We start early, get the orders sorted, and spend most of the afternoon dealing with suppliers on the phone. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that; you just walk in and you’re basically in the middle of where the work happens. Sometimes the dog from next door wanders in to say hello, or we spend a few minutes chatting with the postman. It’s that kind of place. We don't pretend to be some giant global corporation with fancy offices. We’re just a local clothing business trying to do things right and keep our customers happy. The space is a bit lived-in, with scuffs on the walls and piles of fabric here and there, but it’s a productive environment for us. It’s a simple setup that works well for what we need to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
