Sankalpan Architects

We’ve been at 519 in the Galleria Complex for a while now. Most people know the DLF Phase IV area is usually busy, so finding our office isn't too hard once you're in the right part of the building. At Sankalpan Architects, we spend most of our days looking at drawings and talking about how buildings should actually work for people. It’s a lot of back and forth with clients and builders. Sometimes we’re out on sites getting dusty, and other times we’re just sitting here in the office figuring out where a specific wall should go. It’s not always glamorous work like people think. There’s a lot of paperwork and technical stuff that folks don’t usually see from the outside. We just try to get the jobs done right so the structures stand up and look okay. The coffee here is alright, and the team is small but we keep busy enough. If you’re around the Galleria, you might see us coming or going with rolls of paper. We deal with all sorts of design problems every single week. It’s mostly about making sense of a space. We don’t really do big fancy speeches about our style. It’s just what we do every day. The weather has been hot lately, which makes site visits a bit of a chore, but that’s just part of the deal we made. We like the neighborhood here. There are good places nearby to grab a quick lunch when we have time. We just focus on the plans.
