Our office is at 100, Lumbani Apartment in Sector 14, Kaushambhi. It’s right there in Ghaziabad, U.P. It’s an apartment building, so it has a lived-in feel to it. Sandvik Mining and Construction uses this space to stay on top of everything we need to do in the region. It’s not a huge place, but it fits the team we have here. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at schedules. Being in Kaushambhi is handy because it’s close to the border with Delhi, so moving around isn't too bad if you time it right. The apartment has its own rhythm, with neighbors coming and going. We try to keep things quiet and professional, but it’s still a very local atmosphere. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we all frequent. We don't have any polished speeches prepared about what we do. We just know our jobs and we do them every day. The office itself is full of catalogs and paperwork. It’s not the most modern look, but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people. We don't need any fancy marketing to tell people we're here. We just show up at Lumbani Apartment and get to it.
