Salt Room Therapy

You can find us on the third floor of the Oxame City Centre Mall, right in Sector 49 on Sohna Road. Being in a mall means we are surrounded by shops and food courts, but once you step into D 16, it gets much quieter. Our main feature is the salt rooms we’ve built. These are rooms where the walls and floors are covered in salt, and we have machines that put salt particles into the air. It sounds a bit unusual if you haven’t seen it before. We spend a lot of our day checking the salt levels and making sure the rooms are clean and ready. The lighting inside the therapy rooms is soft, which is a big contrast to the bright lights of the mall hallway. We get a lot of people coming in after work or while they are out doing their weekend shopping in Gurgaon. It’s a weird mix of a busy retail environment and a very still therapy space. We are just a small team of people who manage the bookings and look after the equipment. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sales pitch. We just explain how the salt rooms work and let people try it out for themselves. It’s a straightforward job, keeping the space peaceful in the middle of a busy shopping center. We usually stay open as long as the mall does, so it’s a long day for us.
