We are located at 82-R in the New Colony area of Gurgaon. This is an older part of the city, quite far away from all those shiny glass skyscrapers and malls they keep building near the highway. Our office is basically a house that we converted into a place to work. You will see rolls of architectural drawings and site maps leaning against almost every wall in the main room. Construction is a messy business, and it seems like we always have mud or dust on the floor no matter how often it gets swept. Gurgaon has changed so much since we first started here, and the traffic seems to get worse with every passing year. We spend a lot of our time on our mobile phones talking to the supervisors who are out at the different building sites. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with long meetings and fancy presentations. Most of our big decisions are made over a quick cup of tea or while we are standing at a half-finished project site. It has a family-run feel here even though we have several different things going on at once. The guys on our team are very hardworking and we have known most of them for over a decade now. Sometimes we run into issues with materials not arriving on time, which is just part of the job.
