Sabs Architects And Engineers Pvt Ltd. is located at 232, Dlf Qutab Plaza, in Dlf Phase 1. Being in Qutab Plaza means we are right in the heart of a very busy commercial hub. The elevators are always full, and there is a constant flow of people in the hallways. Our office is a mix of desks for the architects and a separate area for the engineers to do their calculations. It can get pretty loud when everyone is talking at once, trying to figure out a structural problem or discussing a new design. We have shelves filled with old project files and technical manuals that have been around for years. The windows look out over the plaza, so we get to see the weather changing and the crowds below. It is a functional space, meant for working rather than showing off. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that is usually where the best ideas come from when someone is just taking a short break. Sometimes we have to stay late when a project is at a critical stage, and the plaza finally gets quiet while we are still up here with the desk lamps on. It is a lot of technical work, checking measurements and making sure the engineering side of things is solid. We have been here in Phase 1 for quite a bit now, so we are used to the pace of life in this building.
