S & Y Builders Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Prem Nagar, Sector-12A in Gurgaon. You can find us at Kamal Krishan Chopra’s house, number 514/3. It’s a residential area, so it’s not like those big glass towers you see in the rest of Gurgaon. We prefer it this way because it’s more grounded and quiet. We spend our days dealing with builders, permits, and lots of phone calls to suppliers. There’s always someone coming or going with a set of rolled-up plans under their arm. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to focus on the numbers and the site layouts. We aren’t some massive developer with a marketing department or a fancy lobby. It’s just a few of us making sure the projects stay on track and get finished. We’ve got a couple of desks squeezed into the space and a printer that jams way too often when we're in a hurry. It’s honest work. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with fancy brochures. Most of our clients just come to us through word of mouth from people we've worked with before. We know the local regulations and the people in the trade around here. Every day is a bit different; some days we’re out in the sun at a site, and other days we’re stuck inside doing math. It’s a decent living and we like the people we work with every day.
