Our place is located at A2/13 in DLF Phase-1, over in Gurgaon. It’s an older part of the neighborhood, which we actually quite like because it feels a bit more settled than the newer blocks. We do design work here, mostly sitting around screens and sketching out ideas on paper when the computer gets too tiring. The office isn't anything special to look at from the street, but it works for us. Haryana can get really hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning stays running. We’ve had a few leaks and some flickering lights over the years, but we just fix them and keep going. Usually, there are a couple of us here by eight in the morning. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the projects we have on the table. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. We wear comfortable clothes and sometimes there’s a bit of a mess with all the samples and drawings lying around. Finding the house number can be a bit tricky for delivery drivers because the numbering in Phase-1 is a little confusing sometimes. We try to be helpful when people call for directions. It’s just a small team trying to make things that look okay and function the way they’re supposed to. We’ve been in this spot for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It's our little corner for being creative.
