Our office for Reliance Industries Ltd. is over at S-62 in Mahaveer Nagar. It is right off Tonk Road in Jaipur, Rajasthan. If you have ever been to Jaipur, you know Tonk Road is one of those main veins of the city that is always humming with cars and buses. Mahaveer Nagar is a bit more tucked away, but we are close enough to the main road that it is easy to find. The sun can be pretty intense here in Rajasthan, so we spend a lot of time inside keeping things moving. The office is just a standard space, nothing that would stand out in a crowd of buildings. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it is paperwork or coordination. Being in Jaipur gives the place a certain feel, a mix of the old city and the newer developments. We aren't trying to be anything other than a functional workspace. People come in, do their shifts, and we deal with whatever comes up that day. There is no corporate script here. We talk to each other like normal people and handle our business without any extra fluff. The address S-62 is pretty well known by the local couriers. It is just a reliable spot in a busy neighborhood where the work gets done despite the heat or the noise from the traffic on Tonk Road nearby. We just keep at it until the day is finished.
