You can find Rashi Ratan Gallery at Civil Lines 76. It’s a pretty straightforward place where we spend most of our hours looking at stones and gems. The lighting in here is very specific because we need to see everything clearly. People come to us when they are looking for something specific for a ring or maybe just something they were told would bring them a bit of luck. We don't have a big sales pitch. Usually, we just lay out what we have on the velvet pads and let the customer take their time looking. It is a quiet kind of business. Civil Lines is a decent area, a bit more relaxed than the city center, which suits us just fine. Sometimes we have people coming in who don't know anything about stones, and we just explain the basics without getting too technical. Our shop has these old wooden counters that have been here since we opened. There is a lot of history in these walls. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and organizing the stock by size and color. It is a bit of a slow process, but you can't rush this kind of thing. We are just here doing our bit, day in and day out, making sure that what we give to the customer is exactly what we said it was.
