Ramtanu Mata Autoparts

Ramtanu Mata Autoparts is located in the Hemgiri Building. We are at Plot No. 410 in Sector 22. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us eventually. The shop is filled with rows and rows of shelves. We keep all kinds of small parts that are hard to find elsewhere. Sometimes the dust settles on the boxes, and we have to spend the morning cleaning. It is just me and a helper most of the time. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just a couple of tube lights that sometimes flicker when the power is low. Sector 22 is a busy place, but our corner of the building stays relatively quiet. We like to listen to the cricket commentary on the radio while we sort through the stock. If we don't have a part, we usually tell the customer where they might find it. We don't see any point in being difficult about it. Most of the people who come here are mechanics from nearby garages. They know the routine. We have a small table where we keep our accounts in a ledger. We haven't moved over to using a computer yet. It seems like too much trouble for a small shop like ours. We just keep things simple and honest. That’s how we have always run things here. We open up at nine every single morning.
