Ramlata Nursery

Ramlata Nursery is located at Plot No:2995 in Kila Colony. We are in the Tyagi Mohalla area of Badshahpur, which is a part of Gurgaon that still feels a bit like a village. The State Bank of India is the closest big thing to us, so people use that to find the way. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, and the roads can be a little rough, but we have plenty of space for our plants. We grow a lot of things right here in the ground. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we don't have any corporate office or anything like that. We just wake up, check the water, and see what needs pruning. Sometimes the cows from the mohalla wander a bit too close, and we have to shoo them away. We sell to locals and people driving through Badshahpur. We don't have a brochure or a list of services written down anywhere. If you need a tree or some hedge plants, we show you what we have and that’s it. The sun in Gurgaon is really strong, so we use a lot of green netting to keep the young plants from burning up. It’s just honest work in the dirt. We’ve been here a long time and the neighborhood knows us. It isn't a fancy lifestyle, but we like being outside and seeing things grow.
