Rahul Wire Ropes

The workshop is located at 511 in Sector 37, specifically in Phase II of Udyog Vihar. If you know that area, you know it’s always busy with trucks and people moving things around. We’ve got heavy spools of wire all over the place. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk, but we manage to find our way around the stacks. The air usually has a bit of a metallic tang to it because of all the rope and cable we handle. We start the day early, usually before the sun gets too hot, though the tin roof doesn’t do much to keep the heat out in the afternoon. People who work here mostly live nearby or take the bus to the main road and walk in. It’s not the quietest job, with the sound of metal clicking and the machines winding things up tight. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the logs and a phone that rings more often than not. Usually, there's a layer of dust on everything by Friday, so we spend some time cleaning up before heading home for the weekend. Udyog Vihar is a maze, so people sometimes get lost trying to find our specific plot number. We just tell them to look for the big gate and the stack of wooden reels outside.
