We operate out of Flat 128 on the first floor of the Govt Employees Society in Sector 31-32A, near Jharsa. It’s a residential area, so our day-to-day life is very much integrated with the local community. Ps Meals is a small venture where we focus on preparing and sending out food. We aren't a massive catering company with a huge staff. It’s just a handful of us in a kitchen that often feels a bit too small for all the pots and pans we have. Our mornings start way before the sun is up so we can get everything prepped and cooked. The smell of onions and spices fills the flat and spills out into the hallway. We know our neighbors well, and they are used to the sounds of our kitchen. Sometimes we run into issues like a stove acting up or a delivery bike getting a flat tire. We just deal with those things as they come. There is no corporate office to call for help. We do the cooking, the cleaning, and the bookkeeping ourselves. It’s a lot of physical work and we are often tired by mid-afternoon. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our food. It’s just simple, home-style cooking done in a regular kitchen. We try to be consistent, but every day is a little bit different depending on what’s available at the market. We are just a local group doing what we can to stay busy.
