Prosearch

Our office is tucked away in N -4/5 in DLF Phase II, which is one of those busy parts of Gurgaon that never really stays quiet. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get around the main roads, but our little corner is tucked back just enough. We spend most of our hours sitting in front of screens, looking through lists and making phone calls to different people. It is a lot of searching and talking, hence the name Prosearch, I suppose. The office layout is pretty basic with some partitions and a small area for meetings that usually has stacks of folders on the table. We get a lot of light through the front windows in the morning, which is nice until it gets too hot in the afternoon. Then we just pull the blinds and keep working. The commute for most of us involves the metro or navigating the dusty roads of Phase II. It is a typical Gurgaon workspace where the coffee machine is the most popular spot in the room. We don't have any corporate art on the walls or anything like that. It is just desks, computers, and people trying to match the right person with the right job. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We just keep at it and try to stay on top of the pile of resumes.
