We operate out of Plot No. 185 in the Udyog Vihar Phase-I Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something going on with the neighbors or the delivery trucks blocking the road. At Premium Mouldings & Pressings, we spend our days around the machines. It’s loud and it can get pretty warm in the workshop, especially in the summer months. We’ve been at this for a long time, so the routine is pretty set. We don't have a marketing department or a bunch of people in ties. It’s just the folks on the machines and a few of us in the back handling the orders. We do a lot of pressing and moulding work, which means we are always checking the equipment to make sure it's running right. Some of the machines are older, but they do the job just fine. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make parts. If someone needs a specific mould, we figure out how to get it done. The paperwork piles up on the desks and sometimes we lose a pen or two, but the work goes out on time. We like being in Udyog Vihar because everything we need is nearby. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks in front of us. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us.
