Premier Furniture & Interior

You can find Premier Furniture & Interior on the second floor of a building in Shivaji Enclave, right in the Rajouri Garden area. It’s an interesting spot because being on the second floor keeps us a bit away from the street noise, but we are still right in the middle of everything. We have been working on furniture and interior stuff for quite a while now. The space is filled with samples, wood pieces, and sometimes the smell of polish or glue. It isn’t a huge, glossy mall store. It feels more like a place where things are actually designed and figured out. We sit down with people and look at drawings or talk about what kind of sofa or cupboard would fit in their room. Rajouri is a busy place for shopping, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people looking around the neighborhood. I handle a lot of the day-to-day things, making sure the woodworkers have what they need and that the orders are moving along. We try to be direct with everyone who comes in. If a certain wood isn't right for a job, we just say so. It is about being practical and making sure the furniture actually works for the house it’s going into. We’ve had all sorts of customers over the years, and many of them come back because they know where we are. It’s just a steady, local business.
