Our office is located at 162 in Sector 5 of IMT Manesar. It’s a big industrial area, so there are factories and workshops everywhere you look. Most of us commute in from the nearby towns every morning on our bikes or by bus. The building is a bit plain, just grey walls and big windows that look out onto the street. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly on computers but also with some hardware parts on the benches. It’s usually pretty quiet inside compared to the noise of the heavy trucks outside on the main road. We have a small canteen area where we all eat together at noon. The coffee isn't great, but it gets us through the afternoon slump when things get slow. We’ve been in this sector for a few years now. The power goes out sometimes, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can keep working. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and technical drawings on our screens. We try to keep things organized, but there are always stacks of paper somewhere on the desks. On Fridays, things feel a bit more relaxed than the rest of the week. We don't really do big meetings unless there’s a problem that needs fixing right away. Most people just get on with their daily tasks. The security guard at the gate has been with us for a while.
