Phylion India is based at Plot No. 36 in Sector 3 of IMT Manesar. Like most businesses in this part of the industrial estate, we spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of being in a fast-growing area. We work with batteries and power solutions, mostly for electric vehicles. It’s a lot of testing and making sure the cells are working like they should. The warehouse floor is where most of the activity happens. It’s a bit dusty outside because of all the construction in Manesar, but we keep the inside clean for the equipment. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just have people who know how batteries work. Lunchtime is usually when it gets a bit quieter. We have a few benches where guys sit and eat. The commute for some of us is quite long, coming from Delhi or other parts of Gurgaon. We deal with a lot of technical specs, but we talk about it in a way that makes sense. If something breaks, we fix it. If a customer calls, we answer. It is pretty straightforward here. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just want to make sure the batteries we send out don't have any issues. It's a lot of heavy lifting and checking connections every single day. There’s a water cooler near the entrance for the staff.
