Photum Smart Lighting (Guangdong) Co. Ltd

We are based out of Building B here at the International Academy of Optoelectronics in Zhaoqing. It's an interesting spot because we are right near the South China Normal University setup in the High-Tech Zone. Being Photum Smart Lighting means we deal with a lot of technical stuff, mostly LEDs and controllers. The area around here in Zhaoqing City is growing fast. Every time you look out the window, there’s a new building going up. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but the quiet helps us focus on what we’re doing. We spend most of our time in the lab or the assembly area. The team is a mix of local people and some folks who moved here for the tech jobs. It gets pretty humid in Guangdong, so the air conditioning in Building B is our best friend during the summer months. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly desks, testing equipment, and boxes waiting to be shipped out. We take our work seriously but the atmosphere is relaxed. Most of us eat lunch together at the local canteen nearby. It’s not a glamorous life, just making sure the lights work like they’re supposed to. We’ve been in this Zhaoqing spot for a bit now and it feels like home. Our lab equipment takes up most of the space, but we make it work.
