Foot Connect

We are located in Pataudi, and that’s where we do all our business. It’s a local footwear spot where we keep things very straightforward. We have shelves lined with all kinds of shoes, from sandals to more sturdy boots. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. Most days are spent helping people find the right fit or cleaning the floor after a busy afternoon. Pataudi is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so we chat a lot with our customers. We aren't part of some big national chain. We are just Foot Connect, a small shop in town. We spend a lot of time checking the soles and the laces of the stock we get in. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, or we run out of a popular size, and we just have to deal with it. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a website with fancy graphics; we just have the shoes and the stools for people to sit on while they try them on. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but we make it work. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay. It’s just about providing something people need right here in Pataudi. We have a small bench outside where older folks sometimes sit and rest for a minute even if they aren't buying anything. The shop smells a bit like leather and rubber, which is something you just get used to. We use the wooden shelves that have been here since we opened.
