A. V. N. Plastics Rubbers

Out here in the Kadipur Industrial Area, things are always moving. We are located in the Sant Johns Convent Complex on Pataudi Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but this is where all the work happens. The shop floor is usually loud because of the machines running. We deal with plastics and rubbers all day long. It’s messy work sometimes. There is usually a smell of raw materials in the air. We’ve got stacks of crates and bins everywhere. It isn't a showroom, that’s for sure. It’s a factory space. We have workers coming in for different shifts. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time. We know each other's names and families. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off so we can hear the phone. Pataudi Road is always full of trucks and lorries, so deliveries can be tricky sometimes. We just manage as well as we can. We don’t have a website with flashy photos or anything like that. People find us because they need parts or materials. We just focus on the orders we have for the day. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the equipment. That is pretty much what our life looks like here in Kadipur. It is dusty and noisy but it is our place. We just keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the schedule every week.
