Our setup is out in Manesar at Plot No. 109 in Sector-4. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s practical for what we do. The building is a bit grey and looks like every other block on the street. Inside, it’s a different story. We have rows of machines and a lot of people working hard. It’s usually quite loud with all the clatter. We handle the production side of fashion here. It’s not about the runway or anything like that; it’s about the hard work of putting clothes together. We get large shipments of material in and then we spend the weeks cutting and sewing. Sometimes the schedule gets tight and we’re all a bit stressed, but we manage to get through it. We have a small canteen area where we sit and eat lunch. The tea there is okay, nothing special. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. We’ve seen other companies come and go from Sector-4. Parth Fashion Pvt. Ltd. is basically a place of work. We don’t spend money on fancy rugs or paintings for the walls. We’d rather spend it on keeping the machines running. It gets dusty, and sometimes the power cuts out, but we just wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a real place with real people doing a daily job. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
