Mod Knits

Our place is at Plot No. 37 in Sector-37. This is part of Pace City-1 in Udyog Vihar-vi, which is in the Khandsa area. Mod Knits is basically a big workshop and production floor. It is not a place where you would come to browse a fancy showroom. The building is industrial and has a lot of open space for our machines. Khandsa is full of places like ours, so there is always the sound of manufacturing in the air. We have high ceilings and the floor is just bare concrete. It makes it easier to clean up the scraps at the end of the shift. We do not have any fancy office furniture or decorations. Our desks are just old wooden ones that have seen many years of use. The lighting is bright and industrial so we can see what we are doing with the knits and the yarn. Trucks come to the gate of Plot No. 37 quite often to load up finished goods. We have to keep the yard clear so they can turn around without hitting anything. It is a busy and loud environment most of the time. We do not have a big staff, just enough people to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door. Sector-37 is a bit far from the main city, so it is mostly just workers and drivers around here. We have a small break area where we sit and eat our lunch together.
