P G Acomadation

We run this PG over at 2156 Railway Road in the Rani Bagh area. It’s an older building, but we try to keep it functioning properly for everyone who stays here. There are a lot of rooms and people coming and going at different hours because of their jobs or studies. The location on Railway Road is convenient for most, though it can get a bit noisy with the traffic and the trains nearby. We spend our days checking on the rooms, making sure the water is running and the lights are working. It’s not a luxury hotel, and we don't pretend it is. It’s just a place for people to sleep and have a bit of their own space. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, and we have to call the repairman in a hurry. We talk to the residents about their day when we see them in the hallway. We have a set of rules posted up to keep things from getting too chaotic. It’s important that everyone respects the shared spaces. We handle the rent and the maintenance stuff ourselves. Rani Bagh is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always somewhere to get food or do laundry nearby. We’ve been running this for a while and have seen many different people come and go over the years. Some stay for a month, others for years. It is a revolving door of faces, but we try to keep it steady for everyone who chooses to stay under our roof.
