Organic Farm To Home

We operate out of unit C 23 in the Belvedere Towers. It is mostly where we handle the administrative side of things and coordinate all the daily deliveries. The whole idea started because we wanted to get fresh, organic produce directly from the farms to people’s kitchen tables without all the usual middlemen involved. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to farmers in the outskirts and then figuring out the best delivery routes for the drivers each morning. Our space here in the tower is quite small, mostly just a few computers and some folding tables where we print out the delivery labels and check the customer lists. It is not a walk-in shop, so people do not really come here to buy things in person. We focus entirely on the logistics of moving the food from one place to another. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic in the office when a shipment is delayed by traffic or a delivery truck breaks down, but we usually manage to sort it out by the end of the day. It is a very small team, just a few friends and some relatives working together in a tight space. We do not have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We are just trying to make it a bit easier for families in this area to get better food delivered to their doors. Most of our day is spent making sure the boxes are packed correctly and that the drivers know where they are going.
