Om Logistics Ltd has a branch out in Baspadamka, which is in the Pataudi tehsil of Gurgaon district. It is a bit far out from the main city of Gurgaon, more towards the rural side. The address is just V&P.O. Baspadamka. It is a dusty area, especially with all the construction and the trucks moving around. The office is basically a functional hub for the logistics work we do. It is a large plot with plenty of room for vehicles, but the office building itself is quite plain. We have a few rooms for the managers and a main area where the clerks sit. There is always the sound of engines in the background. It is not the kind of place where you would find fancy furniture or art on the walls. We have calendars from three years ago still hanging up and stacks of delivery receipts on every flat surface. The people who work here are mostly from the surrounding villages like Pataudi or nearby parts of Haryana. We start early in the morning and sometimes stay quite late depending on the truck schedules. It is hard work and the sun can be brutal in this part of the country. We do not have any corporate slogans on the walls or anything like that. We just focus on getting the trucks loaded and unloaded on time. It is a very practical, no-nonsense environment where everyone just gets on with their job without much fuss.
