Om Logistics Ltd.

We operate out of Kasumbhi village in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. Our office is part of Ramkumar Sharma’s place, and it’s about as local as you can get. Life in the village is different; you see the seasons change in the fields right outside the door. We handle the logistics side of things for this area, which often means dealing with a lot of local transport and drivers who have been on the road for days. The office is a simple room with some chairs and a big wooden table where we spread out all our paperwork. There’s usually a pot of tea on the go, and someone is always dropping in to say hello or ask about a shipment. We don't have fancy systems, just some basic computers and a lot of knowledge about the local routes that isn't on any map. It gets quite dusty here when the wind blows across the plains, and we are forever wiping down the desks. The power goes out quite often, so we have to plan our work around that. It is a quiet existence for the most part, punctuated by the arrival of big trucks or the ringing of the landline. We just do our bit to keep things moving through this part of Haryana. It’s a small, family-style environment where everyone knows everyone else, and we just try to get the jobs finished before sunset.
