Our company, Novell Indo Design Pvt. Ltd., is at 352, Udyog Vihar, Phase-II. It is a pretty standard industrial building in a busy part of the city. We do a lot of design and manufacturing work here every day. The main floor is always humming with the sound of tools and people talking over the noise of the machinery. We have a space where we work on the designs first, with sketches and materials spread out all over the tables. It is a bit messy, but that is how we like to work. Once we have a plan, we move it to the production side. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We are just a group of people who like making things with our hands. The weather in Udyog Vihar can get really hot in the summer, and we all feel it when we are working on the floor. We try to keep things moving so we don't fall behind on our schedules or let anyone down. Most of the people here have been with us for years, so we are like a big, slightly dysfunctional family. We show up, we do our shifts, and we make sure the products are made correctly. There isn't any secret to it; it is just about putting in the time and the effort every single day of the week. We take our lunch breaks together when we can, and then it is back to work.
