Nalanda Astrology Research Centre

Down in Sector 14, specifically at number 213, is where we keep the Nalanda Astrology Research Centre running. It is a quiet place for the most part, which is good because you need to think a lot when you are looking at charts and old books. We don't do those flashy horoscopes you see in the back of cheap magazines. Instead, we spend our hours looking at positions and trying to make sense of things based on what has been written down for a long time. The office has that smell of old paper and maybe a bit of incense if someone lit a stick earlier in the morning. People come by when they have things on their mind, and we sit down and look at what the numbers say. It isn't a quick process. We do a lot of checking and re-checking because we want to get the details right. The chair in the waiting area is a bit squeaky, and the light from the window hits the desk just right in the afternoon. We have been in Sector 14 for a while now, and the neighbors know us as the people who are always reading. It is more about the study and the learning for us than anything else. We just take it day by day, looking at the stars and writing down what we find in our ledgers. It is a slow kind of work, but we like it that way because it feels more real.
