We've been running things at Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd for a good while now. Our main spot is over at B-92/A in South City-1, right near the Signature Tower in Gurgaon. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around there with all the new buildings coming up. Bibhu Prasad Mallick is usually around keeping an eye on the paperwork and the daily schedules. It’s not one of those shiny corporate offices you see in magazines, just a practical place where we get the actual work done. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking over site maps while we wait for the calls to come in. The traffic near Signature Tower can be a real headache in the evenings, but being centrally located helps us get to our project sites faster. Construction is messy work, so there is always a bit of dust on the desks and heavy boots left by the door. We don't really do much fancy talk here. We just focus on the buildings and making sure the supplies show up on time. Some days are longer than others, especially when a deadline is close. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking measurements twice. Gurgaon has changed so much since we first set up in South City-1. We have seen the skyline grow from our windows over the years. We are just a group of people who like building things.
