This location at C-137 Dashrath Puri is actually a bit different because it has a residential feel to it. It is right on the Palam Road in New Delhi. Even though the company name is big, this specific office is quite small and local. We handle things for the area from here. It feels more like a house than a typical company building. We have a little front area where people come in with their queries or parts that need looking at. The traffic on Palam Road is always a nightmare, so we hear a lot of honking all day long. Inside, it is mostly just files and a couple of computers. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the people who work here have been with us for years, so we are more like a family than coworkers. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who prefers to work in total silence. It is a steady pace, nothing too frantic unless there is a big deadline. We do not have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will look up from their desk to help you out. It is a very practical way of working, just focusing on the tasks at hand and getting home on time.
