M/S Tirath Ram Aujha Pvt Ltd is currently running things out of a house in Patel Nagar, Gurgaon. To be exact, it’s House No. 1240/5, and we are there care of Satish Kaushik. It’s a residential area, so it’s got a very different feel than the big glass towers you see in other parts of Gurgaon. We like it here because it feels more personal. We are in the construction and contracting business, which means we are usually busy with site visits or checking on materials. The office is really just a base for us to handle the paperwork and take calls. It’s a bit cluttered with files and maps, but we know where everything is. Living and working in Haryana has its own set of challenges, like the traffic on the way to Patel Nagar, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we don't mind. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on the work we do. Satish and the rest of us just try to keep things simple. We aren't into big corporate speeches. We just want to make sure the buildings we work on are solid and that the people we work for are okay. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us drinking tea and going over some numbers.
