We've been out here in Badipatti Kala for a while now. It’s a quiet part of Mirzapur, mostly just the usual daily grind. Working on these housing developments means we spend a lot of time on the dusty roads around Aharaura. Some days are slow when the weather gets too hot, but the crew keeps showing up. We mostly just focus on getting the structures up and dealing with the local suppliers who come by the site. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we manage the paperwork and try to keep things moving. Most people here know us by now. We deal with a lot of bricks and cement, and sometimes the shipments get delayed, which is a headache. But that's just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just building what’s needed in this corner of Uttar Pradesh. The office at Badipatti Kala is usually cluttered with blueprints and tea cups. If you drop by, someone is probably shouting over the noise of a truck or trying to find a missing file. It is what it is. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure the walls are straight and the gates are locked at night. The local kids sometimes wander near the site, so we have to watch out for that too. Just a regular bunch of guys doing some building work. We don't mind the noise much anymore.
