Ashwani Kumar runs things here at our spot in Sandhir. If you are looking for us, we are in the Karnal district of Haryana. Ashwani is the son of Guljar Sharma, and this has been our base for quite a while. It’s a village and post office setup, so everyone knows everyone else. We are part of the Reliance Industries network, but on the ground here, it feels much more local. We deal with the day-to-day tasks that come with being in a rural yet industrial area. The work varies, but it always comes back to the village and the people around us. Our office is a plain building where we keep our records and handle the local logistics. It isn't some glass tower. It’s just a place to get the work done. Karnal is known for its farming, but we bring a different side to the economy here. We wake up, check the weather, and start on whatever needs doing. Sometimes it's a lot of paperwork, other times it's being out in the field. We don't use any fancy talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. Being in Sandhir means we are a bit away from the main city buzz, which suits us just fine. It’s a steady pace of life and we just keep moving forward. We enjoy the quiet mornings before the trucks and tractors start their noise.
