We operate out of House 366 in Shyam Nagar, which is in the Palwal district near Faridabad. We are a construction firm. Most of our days are spent out on various sites around Haryana, so the office is often quiet during the day. We handle building projects, mostly houses and small commercial spots. Construction is a tough business because there are always delays with weather or permits. We have learned to be patient over the years. We started Comt Constructions because we wanted to do things our own way. It is a local operation. We know the builders and the suppliers in this part of the state. We are not some big city firm with a thousand employees. It is just us and a few regular crews we trust. We don't have a big mission statement. We just try to build things that won't fall down or leak when it rains. The office in Shyam Nagar is where we keep all the blueprints and do the accounting. It is a bit cramped with all the files, but it works. Sometimes we have clients come by to look at samples or talk about their plans. We prefer to talk face to face. It is easier to understand what someone needs that way. We just keep plugging away, one brick at a time, making sure things are done right. Being based in Palwal gives us a good reach across the district.
