We’ve been here in Sulkha, Rewari for a while now. Most people around the village know us because of the big equipment we handle at Metso Minerals. It’s a quiet spot usually, but our facility stays pretty busy with trucks coming in and out from different parts of Haryana. Working in a place like this means you get to know the local guys well. We spend most of our days looking at machinery parts and making sure things are sorted for the next shipment. The weather out here gets really hot in the summer, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the sun really starts beating down on the yard. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have a basic setup that works for what we do. People around here just call us the Metso site. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a bit, but we just get on with things. We deal with crushed rock and minerals mostly, so there is always some dust around. It’s honest work. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is just a short bike ride through the village lanes. We don't have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. We just focus on getting the spare parts out and keeping the machines running for whoever needs them. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here in Rewari.
